Question for the people who use networkrendering:
what programs do you use to convert the single frames to an animation?

Hi C.I.B.:
That depends, but here is a list of programs I use every now and then, depending on my needs:
TMPEGEnc
Quicktime Pro
Digital Fusion
Lightwave (load BG sequence, render out as avi/qt whatever, no antialiasing, final render size = input image size, ->F10 and off you go, quite quick as well).
Combustion
VirtualDub

Mike

I usually use After Effects as I normally add labels, arrows, CGs, etc... there. But now I have DFX+ so I'm sure I'll be using that as well. But if you want a cheaper alterative there is QT pro for $30 and there are plenty of free avi creators as well. Or as Lightwolf said just render out your single frames then load them back in to LW as a background image sequence and render that out to avi or qt.

Cheers,
JS

Don't forget about Bink from RAD Game Tools, it is free for non comercial use unless you want to use the SDK.
