keyboard Shortcuts for Rotating viewport

HI

I am a new lightwave user and would like to seek advise on the
keyboard shortcuts for rotating the viewport. (pls see the attached file)

I figure out the to rotate the free axis viewport, we can alt+LMB
to rotate. But the rotation wasn't same as the viewport top right corner rotate tool.

Is there any other keyboard shortcut key for this

They work the same for me.

You can rightclick the Rotation button to adjust bank rotation, don't know if that's what you want though (works in layout as well)

I think the main difference between the control button and Alt-LMB is that the button rotates off the viewport center and the LMB rotates off where the cursor is.

A few other shortcut keys:
Alt-Ctrl-LMB zooms
Alt-Shift-LMB shifts
Ctrl-Shift-LMB, RMB, or CMB gives you a handy little menus
