Audio in Tedit not all there

I recorded dv in another system to Firewire drive . All was fine with ceremony.
when started putting formal dances down the audio will cut out after a minute and it is doing it to any long clip 3,4 min.
if i load the same clip into premiere its ok.
any ideas.........

The NewTek info folder holds the audio data for those clips.
In Windows Explorer, delete that folder. then, when you drag the clip back into the Editor, let it finish generating the audio waveform before you start working. You only need to do this once.
