Is there a way to clone a whole group/hiearchy of objects in layout? Say I have a whole hand set up with parents and everything....and I want to clone the whole hand to the other side of the body....????

You should already be able to clone a whole heirarchy through the scene editor. There's a dropdown list under the select key that will allow you to do this. No need for a plug-in.

Yep as Giger said 'Clone Hierarchy' is part of LightWave but Lord knows why it's not part of the default interface setup!!

It also can't clone multiple objects that have hierarchy.

Personally I think the whole cloning / laying out needs a shake up, it's missing tons of features that have been available to other packages for some time now.

Here's hoping in v8!

I tried clone hiearchy but it crashes LW every time. Clone selected worked like a charm:)
