Can we expect a new version of the Live Control Remote for the TCXD300 ? Waiting a bit before buying the actual LC-11.

When talking with Zane at one of the demo's...he stated that not in the near term.
I agree, that I hope NT looks into a new control surface that better supports and fits the TCXD series...with it new UI, and controls...
There also might be an interesting option...to setup the sources on a secondray screen...and the main UI on a touch screen...that would be interesting to see if that would work.
But a hardware control surface would be nice that fit all the flexibility and power of the TCXD would be nice to have.

You can use the LC-11 with the XD300 . . . I have my LC-11 connected to my dealer demo XD300 . . . the XD300 recognizes and works with the LC-11.

Hi Matt,
I don't think we didn't say it wouldn't work...just that there is so much more functionality for the TCXD series...that a controller with additional capability would be very nice to support it even better...for all those TD's out there.

I was told by NewTek at our Stream or Die stop in North Carolina that a new external switcher panel would be developed for the XD300 . . . in the meantime, you can use your LC-11 now with the XD300 while waiting for the next controller to ship.
Tomorrow I will report on what features the LC-11 doesn't support when working with the XD300.

Something more elaborate may appear eventually, I suppose, but LC-11 adapts surprisingly well to TCXD. Its controls are more fully utilized than for SD TCs . For example, the joysticks control Overlay positioning (independently for each channel), and LiveSet zoom - both TCXD only features.

Steve, how do you get the LC-11's joysticks to control the XD300's overlay positioning? Couldn't get it to work . . . .
