New Problem - Crackling audio

I know I've read about this probelm before form people using Sound Blaster boards - I had them back with VT1. But now with VT2 and the Toaster Audio, there were no problems.

Now I have crackling audio with VT3 from the Toaster Card outputs. I'll do a search here and at the Safe Harbor board.

Just curious if anyone has any suggestions.

I moved the other cards on the system to the lower slots (ATA 100 card was under VT card). Also put a fan in right under the card as I was affraid it might be over-heating.

No more pops.


WOW!! I'm helping myself!! why do I need the boards?
