I have been away from SE and cannot remember why I am unable to create a custom format.

I start a New project/Custom/Project Settings. I type in Pixels.. 744 x 419, but it will not allow it, changing it to 736 x 419

What step am I missing or not understanding?

The size must be divisible by 4.
Or 12...

Thanks, at least I know now itīs not me, but why?

It is hardly customable if you cannot choose a custom size. In my case I need 744 x 419.

hehe, I've heard a few say that.

I've seen a response to that which proved insufficient when you consider the idea of customizable.

My understanding is that some codecs simply will not create files at oddball resolutions. I'm not sure how one might get around that restriction.

Raise the custom settings so it can devide by 4. Then try changing back in custom render panel. If that doesn't work, use project size, and the render playback might work, with out distortion in that custom player size.

What are you working on to need these custom settings?

Has anyone noticed 3 different formats for HDTV for commercials?

Itīs not for TV work so I can easily do it in Flash.

I just thought I would give SE a spin as I have not used it in a while and was surprised that I was not able to set up my own custom settings.
