I've have visited "Freddy Kruger WIP" and all of marks posts seem to be just dots.

Could this be because of the firewall I'm behind or what’s going on.

Lude.

Lude,

You don't WANT to see the FK posts.... wait until the REAL artist steps forward.

Basically in a nutshell.... the guy who said the model was his.... well, it was someone else's work and he was trying to pass it off as his own.

The guy in question has been banned from CgTalk and obviously from here as well. Good riddance.

Just to tease you though, the model was VERY VERY good! The bad news (as I understand it) is that the model was created in 3d Studio Max, not LW. But whatever it was created in, the model was/is class.

Adrian.

Peekot,

I didn't mean there's anything wrong with Max! It's just that when you think something has been done in LW and then find it wasn't, it's just a little disappointing.

Anyway may I congratulate you on a super piece of work - even if it is unfinished.

Adrian.

Dan Ablan said that Mark had agreed to do a tutorial for the Freddy for Keyframe Magazine. I assume now that is not the case since obviously Mark is a lying son of a motherless goat. Are you doing it now Peekoot?

yeah... i know.. i was just joking... ;)

thanks... it will be finished... it would be pitty to leave him now... lot of work would be wasted..

to hrgiger:

no i'm not doing it... i've spoke to Dan... it seems that he cancelled the tutorial...

That's too bad. I would have really enjoyed seeing something other then your average head modeling tutorial. Are you interested in offering something like that?

hrgiger... look at my replies related to this issue on this forum...

when i continue work and post it on cgtalk i will be explaining how i made it aswell... :) don't expect too much though... and not because i don't want to share it... it's because there isn't much to share... :)

I don't get over to cgtalk much but I guess now I'll have to pop in a little more often. I understand there's probably no revolutionary method you're using for modeling, it's just nice sometimes to get a new perspective on how others accomplish similar goals.
