Hey all,
Ive been messing around with lightwave's fiber fx and have kind of got to a dead end.
Im trying to put fur on my dog model, and for the most part its working great, except the areas where the fibers are short. I have a weight map to control fiber length, making them shorter on the legs and head. As you can see from the uploaded images, those areas are not like the rest of the body and seem to be brighter. As a friend mention, it looks like the dog was in snow.
Ive tried playing around with tip transparency and the fibers ambient percentage, but it doesnt seem to be affecting those areas well enough.
Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks in advance!
