I am planning on buying a new computer, PC, budget - enough to buy the best most powerful computer out there for PC's. have any suggestions on what model, company, etc? What computers do you guys have? if you can give me examples of the computer set up (processor speed, ram, bus, video card, etc.) that would be very great. Thank you so much for your help.
PS: by the way, I don't know how to build my own computer... don't know if i want to since i won't have warranty....

If your budget is big, go look at Boxx.com.
Right now I'm using a VPRMatrix (best buy brand).
It has an ISA (Industry Standard Acrhitecture) not proprietary.
P4 2.53Ghz
1 gig DDR PC2100
533Mhz bus
Intel 845i motherboard/chipset
nVidia GF4 Ti 4200 (64mb)
Pioneer 104 DVD-R/RW burner
LiteOn DVD-Rom
2 Firewire
4 USB 2.0
Built-in 10/100 Ethernet
etc...
This was a highend system about 8 months ago and I paid $1100 for it back then. The same system could probably be had now for the same price but with P4 3Ghz and 800FSB or so.

I was planning on buying a new pc too. I was thinking on going for a motherboard with multiple processors, but I don't know if it will make a very big difference in speed, does any of you use a multiprocessor system?
I'm probably going to spend around 5000€ for my "supersystem" (I think that's almost 4700 US dollars).
And does it do anything to the speed of the system if you have 3 screens instead of 2? (the third screen will be a projector)
The dual will show it's usefulness the most when you are rendering. You can render with screamernet on both processors at the same time thereby doubling your render performance over a single processor machine. You won't notice much difference when you are working in Lightwave but I would go dual if I was getting a new machine.
Cheers,
JS
