I want to purchase Vista 64 bit OS for my mac. I'm running 32 bit XP through Boot Camp off of my Mac Pro right now and (which only recognizes 2 GB of RAM) and it does just about every thing faster than the 32 bit Tiger 10.4.11 I have running on it (which recognizes all three GB of RAM I have in the Machine).
My Question is: Vista 64 or Snow Leopard, which is faster and which is more stable?

Vista, not because of stability, but because Mac lacks many great plugins.
as for stability, i don't think there is much of a difference...
speed? can't say...

I agree completely. The lack of plugins at some point always becomes an issue.

Besides the plugins, the Mac LW64 bit version isn't out yet...but will enter public beta process soon.
Oh yes, go with Lafuma...beats Nike any day :hey:

hm, interesting, makes me wonder, could it be that Linux renders faster than Windows?
might be,

Linux has an amazing memory management and file systems, so could be a perfect choice.

Windows 7 x64. LightWave and Fusion are running better for me on Windows 7 than they ever have before (including XP and Vista on this same hardware.)

When the DS came out I bought one on launch day. A month later I bought the PSP on it's launch day and then the DS just sat and gathered dust until I sold it on eBay. If there was a LightWave on DS that would make it worth buying one again right away.
