I just found this article via arstechnica.com. It's just so cool I had to share it. In a nutshell, MIT is making it's course content available for FREE online.

not only does that fulfill my dreams, it gives me a free "education" towards cool tech stuff, and i can tell people i was trained at MIT :D

yeah and you can also audit their courses for free now. Of course you wont get a degree but the knowledge alone from some of the greatest minds is priceless
