Hello,

I have a stand alone DVD Recorder Panasonic DMR-HS2 with harddrive, which has DV input. My VideoToaster works perfectly fine with DV input. But I cannot get it to send a video signal out to the DVD Recorder so I can maintain a better video connection. Has anyone attempted to work on something similar to this? Support told me to look at DVapp, but that doesn't help me much. Any suggestions are appreciated and welcome.

I use the Y/C output to go to a freestanding DVD burner with great results. I am capturing uncompressed RTV. not DV.

I have the same DVD recorder and I'm using uncompressed .rtv's (as Rich does) out of the T2 via the y/c connector and I have pristine quality on the disks in the 1 hr mode.

Don't compress your videos.......

Yep if you go out DV then you will compress your video twice. Once 5-1 then again in the DVD burner; going out Y/C you only compress once.
