we would like to announce the release of our LW-Tutorial DVD - modeling a complete character in Lightwave 3D -

We have developed our own capture codec to provide the best screen quality. Further the DVD has 2 different modes ... a TV- mode and a PC-mode. Plus the DVD will contain object files, scenes files and textures.
The DVD has 2 language channels (english / german).

It's interesting that the website says the video is made in DVD-Video format, rather than DVD-R or DVD+R. This is a good thing, as it means that any home DVD player can play the vision. It must have cost the company a lot of money to make the glass master DVD for this process.

I assume this means the scene files should also be readable, cross-platform.

yes, the dvd is "codefree"....you can play the dvd on pc and your home dvd-player. ....plus, we have 2 modes. PC-mode and a special TV-Mode.
