LW 6.5 to 8.0

Hi this is my first time posting here and I have a "?"
I have Lightwave 6.5 and I want to upgrade to 8.0 and on the newtek.com sight they where talking about LW 7.0 to 8.0.
Do yall know if its the same price from any upgrade Like me 6.5 to 8.0???

I think you will have to pay a few extra bucks 'cos the upgrade from 6.5 to 7 was not free.

When they were first offering the deal they were letting people upgrade from earlier versions at the same rate with the DFX+ deal...I don't know for sure right now though...
