Using my Tricaster Pro I have created page templates using The Edit Text Tab interface. I created the page and used the "add page to templates" choice in the add page dropdown list. The new pages are named "Untitled" 100,101, etc.
In my VT5 I can double click on these template names and change them to something more intuitive. How the Heck do I do this with Tricaster.
I have tried every combination of hot keys to no avail. (I did find out however; to delete a template from the list you hit enter and left mouse click for the delete prompt. Try and find that in the "Manual")
This should be easy some one please tell me I'm just missing something obvious..PLEASE!

There's no simple way, but you can rename (and reorganize) the files individually using a Windows file explorer (from the Admin desktop).

I have searched around in windows and found any numer of files named Untitled 100 etc some are .jpg etc but no matter which ones I rename the names on the drop down list stay the same.
Any idea where the file or folder that creates the name for the list is located?

In the first image attached below, I have renamed one folder (only), as you can see. The second image shows the result in TC's Title Template drop-down. (I think with a smidgen more effort I could place these renamed titles in another group entirely, to avoid their being overwritten accidentally.)
Hope this helps.

Thanks but...
I guess I'm not explaining properly I am trying to rename templates created in what looks like the VT5 title editor this interface opens up when you open the edit text tab at the very top of the tricaster desktop.
In that cg editor pages menu there is an add page drop down list with an add page to templates list button at the bottom . When clicked it adds the highlighted cg page to the list and names it "Untitled" and a number.

On the VT5 you can simply double click the name to edit. I don't have my TC handy to try it there.

Yes, I do this on my VT5 all the time.
Not so easy on the TC
Thanks,

I guess I'm not explaining properly ... Oh, I see - sorry, thought you were trying to have exported templates appear with a custom name in the Live desktop. The file where those names are stored does not appear to be user editable (I tried, and don't recommend it. If you do, back up the file before editing it).

Thanks,
I did find an email address for Zane Condren at Newtek and sent him the question.. We'll see what happens. Anybody else have any ideas feel free to jump in..
