Audio Capture Problem

Has anyone encountered/fixed the following:
-upon capture from DV camera source, no audio present
-happens in both SpeedEdit and VT capture
-level meter is seen in SpeedEdit capture
-audio IS there after capture and can be heard upon playback in Edit
-all other audio working fine; composite source audio is also heard on capture
-tried restarting VT5 and computer numerous times; tried different sources
-never has happened before

-never has happened beforeHave to respectfully disagree with that portion of your post. It's always been like this. You can't monitor audio during DV capture in VT(or SE) ... long-standing feature request though.

I agree that with SpeedEdit I've never been able to monitor audio (other than the meters), but for the last 6 years, I've always had audio when capturing on VT.
