Magic edges!

How can I be so illiterate to totally have missed the secret of edges?

Anyone knows shortcuts, menu directions or on the depth detailed information of how to do this I would appreciate that a lot...

I went through William Vaughns video about edges but I must say it leaves a lot to the viewer...

What is he doing at 0.33-0.35? I can´t see which meny or panel he use since he just say, "let´s do an edge bevel"! Maybe I am supposed to know that but shamefully enough I don´t!

ooh uh...i didn't see the video but I think this is what you where looking for ;)

I believe he is using the keyboard shortcut. For me it is "control b" you can then use the mouse to control the size of the bevel. Hope this helps.:thumbsup:

Are you talking of JW tools video? They are very handy.

For me there are some tools is use all the time.

Connect (create loops, cut loops, create a point in edges....)
Dissolve (Works like merge in all modes)
Edge Bevel
Select Ring (and then Connect to add a loop)
Select Loop (and the dissolve to kill loop or bevel to create loop)

Oh yeah... I did get stucked to the Shift key... but Control made it work better...
