Your animation looks good. Some parts he kind of looks stiff, but that could
just be me.

Pretty good. That clown is freakishly nightmarishly scary.

The only thing I didn't like is the cane chasing him at the end. Kind of a stiff and uninteresting motion.

hmmmmm.... some parts were pretty good. Like when he reaches off camera and pulls the spotlight back into the shot. But everything else was.... REALLY choppy. Especially when he's flying back and forth on the spotlight. It looked wrong in every way. He didn't look like he was hanging, really. Buy "The Animators Handbook" by richard williams. You seem to have a good start, but man i'd try and smooth it out. IMHO

ok, i just watched it again. The way the hat bounces on the ground when it falls off his head is totally unnatural. Also, when he runs off camera at the end, it looks really bad. Kinda made me forget about the good moments earlier on in the animation cuz it ended on such a bad note. IMHO

just watched it again. You might think about having him look up a few times after his cane flies in the air. Only after the fourth time watching it did i realize what actually happened. Maybe have him anticipate catching it before he actually does catch it. If he's such a talentless clown, maybe he should miss catching it or it hits him on the head or something? I don't know. Just a few suggestions. Keep it up, though. It's a good idea.

Heh heh, oh that's really cool.
Yeah when he throws the cane up it's a little unclear about what he's trying to do, but I think the motion is great, very smooth and natural.
I'm guessing it was redone since the first post! ;)
