Hey all you OSX users running ATI cards under 10.2.6, please do me a favor and email ATI at this address and tell them of your horror stories you are encountering in Modeler.
The email address is:
devrel@ati.com
Be as general or as descriptive as you like.
I sent one this morning and received a reply, so I figure that the more proactive we are, the more receptive ATI will be. :)
Thanks.

When you come to the forum, look at the second number next to the post (views) and that will tell you how many people have looked at this thread. It's simpler (probably) if everyone doesn't post here as well. By the number of views, you can hope that half of them have ATI cards to complain about.

well...duh...i realize how many people viewed this thread...
just wanted to be sure people sent the email and they could use this thread to communicate to the OSX ATI users about feedback and what they wrote.
Cheers.

Thanks for the email address, Policarpo. I sent an email, as well as going to the Mac OS X Feedback (http://www.apple.com/macosx/feedback/) site and sending in a complaint there as well. I can't believe that this problem has been going on for over 4 months, and still the only solution is to downgrade your OS or switch to an Nvidia card. This whole ordeal has all but destroyed ATIs already shaky reputation, at least in my mind. I seriously doubt I'll be buying another ATI product in the future.

Just got a reply from ATI:
A developer by the name of Policarpo has brought this to our attention, and we're looking into this right now.
I'm not holding my breath, but hopefully something good will come out of this.

I guess they assume that since you're emailing the Developer Relations address, that you must be a developer. Hang me from the ceiling, smack my bottom and call me Sally...whatever they want to call me or you or anybody else is fine in my book, if it means getting this issue resolved sooner. :D
Done...and Done....And I mean Done!

i did this some time ago, but today i actually went into the Simply Computing store where i bought the card and sat down with the manager in his office... he wants my business and has all my info, specs, system logs, links to this forum and copies of communication with ati. he's promised to talk to someone at ati with clout and keep me posted.. so here's hoping, once again... :p  :p *crosses fingers..

Hello!
I have read that the G5 are delivery with Mac Os 10,27, If someone have a G5, it is possible to know if the problem with the ati's graphic card is gone away with the 10,27 version of mac os?
(Excuse my english... FR man))
