ddr lockup

whenever i playback commercials via ddr . sometimes they will freeze up during playback. it mainly happens when i am recording to my other hard drive.

Have you run the auto-configure utility?

Another thought . . . you have two independent SCSI arrays in your system? You want to adjust the settings for the DDR in Preferences. Play with the megabytes per second setting and see if that makes a difference. Also adjust the CPU cache settings.

Try rendering your commercials and saving them as single files.
