Hi all,
Does anyone know if there is a distance constraint for connecting a laptop computer via IVGA to the TriCaster Pro using 2.0 for accessing PowerPoint slides?
Thanks,
Pete

Cat 5 tops out at 300ft for computer usage and for passive baluns.
If you are using powered baluns there is a substantial increase.

Actually our passive baluns for Cat5 are rated to 1000'.
On the computer TCPIP side though 300' is correct before having to hit another switch or router.

goswick- you should be fine.
pizazz- what type of passive baluns are you using? We are using Black Box and I'm not particularly happy with their performance.
