I have just finished a 9 minute interview project for my church and I rendered it to an uncompressed format. (It saved at about 10.7 gigs) I minimize VT and Open the file in Windows Media to play it back and see how it looks, but the Audio and video don't match up anymore! I even tried unlocking and relocking the audio streams. Is this a WM Problem that it just can't handle that large of a file? It plays back fine in VT but as soon as I render it, well, it doesn't work.
I'm sure this is probably easily fixable but I just got this system a week and a half ago and I'm not sure how to make it work.
P.S. I captured the video via IEEE1394 if that makes a differnce to anyone

uncompressed RTV or AVI? if AVI, better not, either render the AVI with picvideo mjpeg codec (http://www.pegasusimaging.com/picvideomjpeg.htm) , or as DV, that way you'll get smoother playback, audio will be sync as well.

The audio is actually sync'ed together, but the audio here has a higher decode priority in WMP then video which will drop frames as it goes to try and catch up.
Playing back anything uncompressed in WMP is not recommended regardless if you have a t3 or not. It's not designed for that kind of playback with uncompressed formats.
A great tool to grab is virtual dub. With this you can take your AVI (uncompressed) and turn it into just about anything else you want for compressed format in an AVI. It will also read wrapper AVI's from T3 so no extra space needs to be sucked up.
Give it a try.

I'm logged in under a different username, but thanks you guys.
I tried a lot of different renders to try and get the audio to sync in WMP but none works I'm going to look for Virtual Dub
